     CLOTHING CENTER WORKSHOP

ABOUT US...

In 1966, The Robinson Lions Club decided to open a center that would provide good clothing to the underprileged, jobless, and those sufferuing from catastrophic events, such as house fires & floods, in Crawford County.  The next year, Church Women United began furnishing volunteers and a formal organization was established by church members and service organizations.

The Center's facilities have slowly grown over the years from one room to a building of several thousand square feet.  Each facility has been obtained for less than market value.

As the Clothing Center Workshop continues to help those in need, services hve been expanded to provide ither household needs such as: bedding, linens, kitchenware, and small appliances.

This non-profit organization has been truly blessed -
   - the more people are served
   - the more items come in
All of this has led to other counties being served, as well as other states and countries.

A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION

The clothing Center Workshop holds a 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service and is registered as a charitable organization, therefore all donations are tax deductible.

The Clothing Center Workshop also offers a selection of clothing for those in need of an outfit, whether it is for a job interview, wedding, or funeral: items for both men and women.

OUR MINISTRY

Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go visit you?"  The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
                       MATTHEW  25:37-40
